We Have a Stake in the World
Isaiah 54:2 has been a personal encouragement to me many times. Even though it was a word given to the Israelites in a time of barrenness, it speaks of ongoing growth, life, and the favor of God. It was a prophetic word yet to be fulfilled, and it also showed the intentionality of God to bless His people that they might rise.
"Enlarge the place of your tent and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings. Do not spare. Lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes for you shall expand to the right and to the left, and your descendants will inherit the nations, and make the desolate cities inhabited."
God is speaking to Aglow that we are to enlarge the place of our tent, stretch out the place of our dwellings, do not spare, but lengthen our cords, and strengthen our stake
